Renting 101

  • Report any accidents, theft, or damage to the authorities immediately
  • A police report at the time of the incident is required in order for any damage claim to be covered by CDW
  • Call the rental location number to report any roadside issues during business hours. For after hours, please keep all receipts and contact us as soon as possible
  • Proper registration, roadside, and insurance information are in the glove compartment
  • Smoking is prohibited and will result in a $300 fine and the loss of rental privileges
  • Mileage is limited on most contracts. Make sure to ask the rental agent for details
  • All drivers must provide a valid driver’s license at the time of the rental. Absolutely no unauthorized drivers
  • All vehicles are equipped with tracking devices. Any tampering or removal of the devices are reported instantly. A fine of up to $250 will be charged

Minimum Age: 25
Deposit: $250
(Parlay reserves the right to adjust this amount at time of rental.)

License:
Valid U.S. Driver’s License
(Contact us for exceptions or out-of-state inquiries.)

Insurance:
Provide one of the following:
1) Proof of Personal Auto Insurance
2) Purchase Collision Protection through Parlay
(Note: Collision Protection is not liability coverage.)

Residency Verification:
Provide 2 of the following:
– Current Utility Bill
– Recent Paycheck Stub
– Current Bank Statement

Smoking Policy:
No Smoking
Violation subject to $500 fine

Collision Damage Waiver

  • CDW covers physical damage to the rental, subject to a small deductible
  • CDW does not provide any liability coverage
  • CDW only covers the listed drivers during the contracted period
  • Unauthorized drivers are not covered by CDW and the renter assumes full liability for their actions
  • A police report at the time of the incident is required in order for any damage claim to be covered by CDW
  • Payment in full is required should you damage the rental and return without a police report from the time of the incident
